Reflections of Life

We would like to thank all our friends who supplied us with these 'Reflections of Life' which we are sharing with the Internet Community. We encourage you to purchase the books from which these reflections are quoted!

God knew you and me before He formed us in the wombs of our mothers.
He knew of our days and of our nights.
He knew there would be Spring-times of delight and dark nights of lonely anguish.
He knew there would be moments of human ecstacy and other moments when we would feel very much alone and when we would wonder if there really is a God who cares.
He knew that our gift of freedom would involve the possibility and fact of sin.
He knew that evil would touch your life and mine.
He knew that He would offer us grace to overcome temptation, but that we would at times refuse His offer.
He knew that He would have to write straight with our twistedness.
He knew that He would have to mend our brokenness.
Yet, in full knowledge of all these things, God said:
"Let us make man in our own image, in the likeness of ourselves."....and God saw all that He had made, and indeed it was very good. (Genesis 1)
