Two brothers lived outside Jerusalem, one was married and had many children, the other was a bachelor. When they had brought in the harvest, they divided the crop between them. However, the bachelor said to himself: "What do I need all this harvest for, I live all alone unlike my brother who has a large family to feed." Therefore, without telling anybody about it, he took half of his share and placed it in his brother's barn.
At the same time, the married brother was saying to himself, "Why, here I am with a wife and children to take care of all my needs, and my poor brother is living all alone with no one to care for him - I will get up and give him half of my share so as to provide for his future needs." So, without telling a soul, he took half of his harvest and placed it in his brother's barn.
There was an incredible amazed look on each of their faces, when, the next morning they found out that they had their full share still in their respective barns.
Words of wisdom: "If you can see your neighbour, you can see God; If you can't feed one hundred people, then, at least, feed one person."
