It is strange how a change in our lives can quickly rearrange our order of priorities. Take two youths for instance, both twelve years old. John is healthy and bright and sees "time" as an eternity. Andrew has cancer and saviors the moments he has left with his family. Strange how time and outlook can be relative. Andrew clings to each moment knowing that his time is limited and is forced into getting his life into its correct perspective. John could, in a sense, go off at a tangent at any time. He could also develop a false sense of security and be caught out at some stage of his life. He will most probably waste it but hopefully, at some stage, will realise the importance of a "period" that can never be repeated.
