         I WISH YOU WERE AN OCEAN

I wish you could hold me
like the ocean embraces the sand,
soaking every grain with it's loving touch.

 

I am needy when I am around you.
I admit to that.
Is that really a sin
to be so in love with you.

 

I wish you were an ocean
and I but a grain of sand.
Then I would feel
the love that I desire.
