In a season we all halt to taste life’s pleasures amid the waste, but we'll share a secret my friend, and upon it another life may depend.
The secret crosses in creations veins it will wash a friends wanton pains; Taking shape in careful prayer and changing shapes, but He remains.
A moment taken from behind the fold a light spread darkness and rolled which, for the fabric of an eternity, HE doth Himself contrive and behold.
We speak of advocacy, not vain pursuit of this and other endeavors to dispute; And prayers and actions to grow a vine, so our friend may taste life’s sweet wine.
Heaven nulls the vision of despair and advocacy will set a soul on fire, casting out darkness for we ourselves, and for our friend, it too shall expire.
Now this secret gained, will it be repaid and not with gold, nor a favor to trade but your action and prayer, great and small joining hands along the floor and by the wall. |
